Intellirain Monitoring is the licensed re-seller of the RainWave® Precipitation Monitoring Service for the Construction, Engineering, and Governmental Markets in the United States.

RainWave® uses a proprietary software program in combination with a national network of Doppler radar locations to provide you with the best available data in our industry! We receive 288 data files per day – that’s one every 5 minutes and totals over 100,000 files per site per year.  We have nationwide access to this data, and we extract from it the specific latitude/longitude coordinate of your particular site and embed it into our system.

We then monitor your particular latitude/longitude coordinate and collect updated rainfall information every 5 minutes 24 hrs/day and 365 days/year.  Whether it is Christmas Day or a Sunday morning at 2:00am, we are collecting your data. When the rainfall amount reaches your designated threshold level, you receive a Threshold Alert e-mail. You will also receive a Daily Report, which is the cumulative rainfall total for your 24-hr period, and a Monthly Report after the end of the month with each day’s rainfall totals.
